1. CHOOSING BECKSON. Better design and construction than other manufacturers. NO CORROSION, NO CONDENSATION, NO LEAKS. NO WATERFALL when you open the window. Ready availability of replacement parts for the life of your port.

2. DETERMINING THE BEST SIZE. It is generally best to mount the largest port for the available mounting location for new installations. A larger port provides more light and better ventilation.

3. DETERMINING STYLE. The slope of the mounting location will indicate the type of port required, NEWPORTTM SELF DRAINTM or NEWPORTTM RAIN DRAIN.

4. DETERMINING REQUIRED SPIGOT LENGTH. Estimate the hull or cabin wall thickness at each mounting location as accurately as possible. Cabin wall thickness determines required port spigot length. Both styles come in standard 1" or 2" spigot lengths.

5. FLEXIBILITY. Beckson Fixed and Opening Ports are engineered to standard mounting hole sizes for interchangeability and replacement of other manufacturer's ports.

7. INTERNATIONAL NOTE. All Beckson Opening Ports are CE approved.

8. All Beckson Opening Ports include screens and exterior trim rings. All Beckson Fixed Ports include exterior trim rings.
